What's that in the middledistance? A deadline?
Friendly reminder that stories are due on April 28, at 9PM EST. Here is a handy countdown clock if you don't want to mess with the time conversion!
At that time, we will NOT close the archive to new stories (you can still pop a pinch or three in there!) but based on what is complete will go hunting for pinch hitters for any authors who have not received a story. Please, DON'T be the cause of worry and scrambling -- SUBMIT YOUR STORIES before that date and time! If you are going to be unable to finish, drop formally using the handy button in AO3. No-call-no-shows will not be allowed to participate next year.
While the archive will be open for tweaking your stories, please DO NOT upload an incomplete story just to prevent a pinch from going out. What if you forget all about it and on opening day your recipient opens up AO3 only to find something that hasn't been betaed or finished! That would suck, and would still result in a belated pinch. So just don't do it!
