New Years Meme!
1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? Realised a whiole lot of harsh truths about myself and others that I'd previously been choosing to ignore.
2. Did you keep the new years resolution you made last year? I had a few goals this time last year and a few I managed - I found a cool house with cool housemates (after a disaster mind you) and I did find a job I love for the most part. Of course I didn't manage to save for Queenstown NYE, and I'm only just getting around to learning self control and getting a health regime going. Better late than never!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Not this year, no
4. Did anyone close to you die? A person I had been looking forward to getting closer to did. And it terrified me.
5. What countries did you visit? Stayed in Oz all of this year!
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? More willpower! And, um, A European passport? Hahahaha!
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory? Oct 5th - NRL Grand Final Day in Sydney for all kinds of wrong reasons.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Finally sticking up for myself and ridding myself of a whole heap of negative influences.
9. What was your biggest failure? My lack of financial stability, thus delaying my trip to Europe until 2010!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Just the minor cold/flu here and there.
11. What was the best thing you bought? I'm about to buy my Melbourne Storm membership for next year! Whoo!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My mothers! She was an amazing support this year!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? An ex good friend and housemate of mine. I'd never been so hurt and damaged by a person before. And an ex boyfriend did a decent job this year too.
14. Where did most of your money go? *Cough* Booze *Cough*
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? The Storm Grand Final and multiple gigs I went to.
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? I have a few - 'Sex on Fire' by Kings of Leon because I hear it about 10 times a day at work, and anything Presets or Pnau!
17. Compared to this time last year, are you
a) happier or sadder? Happier
b) thinner or fatter? I've lot a teency bit of weight due to Wii Fit!
c) richer or poorer? A lil bity richer though not much. I am employed now though!
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Explored Victoria!
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Wasting time and opportunites
20. Did you fall in love in 2008? I wouldn't call it that...

22. What was your favorite TV program? Watched 5 seasons of Six Feet Under! And Dexter and 30 Rock!
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Hate is a strong word, and with that in mind, yes.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery? Presets / Pnau / Something with Numbers

29. What was your favorite film of this year? Without a doubt WALL.E. Favouite. Ever. Movie.
30. What did you do on your birthday? Had an R-Rated themed birthday, and went as 'Scat Porn Star' myself. Was an interesting night to say the least!!
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Having had a chance to travel, having seen more of my ol' friends and having met a certain someone sooner would have been nice
