Kallon and Lunais
I got the impression yesterday that Kallon may have left Lunais with a young Lunaisan woman who looks "too Klamon" to leave Alast. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'm not keen on romance and that is definitely not what Kallon is seeking: See Lithadon. I could see him taking exception to the idea that someone would be forced to stay because of things that are beyond their control and the overarching control the Mothers exert over Lunaisan society. I could see him doing it because he wants her to be able to see the world outside and not be under the thumb of the Family's expectations.
"You seem to have a problem with authority."
He snorted contemptuously. "I have a problem with people who think they know best when they don't."
"No one is going to tell me what to do or where to go or who to be with. No one is going to control me for their own gain."
"Humans aren't that observant. They've forgotten what Klamon look like and most don't realize we can take human forms."
"How can you say that? Your mother is Human."
He laughed, a dry, mocking laugh. "She may have been born to Human parents, but Kayrin Sollit Hillenbohn is more Klamon than anyone here."
