Okay. It sounds really cool, but I was starting to wonder if the critter had an inner life we weren't aware of. :) (which is funny, because I listen to the White Vault podcast, and it would definitely be possible.)
Kallon's story is so different from Sray's and it's both great and awful because of all the things he goes through (I swear, I don't purposefully torment my characters, it's just the way things went down....).
It probably does have its own inner life, but I think it's more along the lines of finding a wallaby or something to go eat than worrying about the passage of time.
