My coworker has a small photograph of two cat models taken from a feline pinup calendar on her wall. If we had true equality among the species my coworker would be arrested for child pornography, because these cats are in fact only kittens and they are completely naked. Despite my feelings on cat pornography I must admit that these two kittens are exceedingly cute. In the photo they are emerging from a charmingly down-home wicker basket. The whole scene is an explosion of country craft chic. The two naked underage cats look like siblings, to be honest. The photographer is surely a pervert of the first degree. But anyway, this photograph got me to thinking about how unstoppably cute most kittens are. On the surface. Underneath all of that lovely fur they are ugly like rats. It is amazing how much of a difference a little fur makes on a creature. Just think if we took a species that looks pretty good already without fur, such as humans, dolphins, or pigs, and gave them an extreme fur-over. We would be gorgeous! And I am not talking about hair. Boars have hair and that doesn't do anything for a pig. Hairy bodies men are not considered attractive, either. I am talking about actual fur on a human. There already exists a subculture or people who are erotically charged by people who dress up in fur costumes. They are called plushies. I think I will go into the fur transplant business. There has to be some real money there. Furry dolphins... so cute.
