Call for Help!!
Tsaiko! Alice! I need you!!
We handed in our midterms in Remote Sensing today. And promptly started work on our final projects. He showed us a site where we could download satellite images from then sent us on our way.
What the heck. I felt so lost and helpless. I couldn't even ask him what to do because then he'd look at me like I was stupid and like I hadn't been paying attention. So now I'm stuck. I have an idea for something I can do next class (mosaicking some of the images together), but other than that, I have no idea.
Here's where the help comes in. Tsaiko, my subject is (assuming it will be approved) looking at Roman era Dacian ruins and the correspondance between forts and mountains. What kind of analysis should I be running? And once I figure that out, I hafta figure out how to do that in ENVI. Alice, I found images with Sarmizegetusa (sp??), what other good ruins are there and approximately where are they in Romania? I mean, I'll do some research on my own, but anything you could tell me would be such a huge help.
I am so fed up with Professor Saturno now. When I see my adviser sometime this week, I am complaining. We are going through this project with no knowledge and no guidance. Tell me how that is going to work.
