Thinking a bit of Maderr
Neil Gaiman is on the Colbert Report talking about his new book, The Graveyard Book. I think I must read it now... it sounds very good. Oh and according to Neil, he got a vampire to go out at night and bring back fast food to raise a child. So he cheated XD

In Aristophanes' the Knights, Aristophanes' names a slave Cleon (making fun of the very violent demogogue). And in the play, Cleon is beaten with phalluses.
Yes, you heard right.
So, in ancient Greek plays, all the male characters were given... attachments to that part of their anatomy. And Aristophanes utilized this to have the slave Cleon beaten with phallus.
This little bit of info made writing my midterm so much better, because I could not stop giggling. Now I really wanna see the Knights performed...
