The Boy got down to his dads alright on saturday. Sunday when I talked to him he was ready to come home. My poor baby. :) I think part of it is he's any only child when he's home and oldest of 5 when he's at his dads. That'd be culture shock for damn sure, I have no idea how the heck I'd handle that. weimar27 and I were just talking last night about needing to schedule some sacred writing time. I'm not doing a big bang or anything, but there are things I want to write. The problem is finding time when I'm awake enough to get something done. ... I hear ya.

Congrats on the extra space. Not only do you have more room, but less interruptions, surprise messes, and less worry about who you're waking up by doing noisy things.... like chopping veggies. ;) I hope that situation is working out without the stress you had when it first came up.

About the boy... *hugs* You're a good momma. And he'll be okay, but you know that. Can you send him some annoying toy, like a box full of water guns or silly string cans?

It was easier to find the time to write last year when The Boy had a 6:40am class. I'd drop him off and get to the office an hour before my shift and spend the time writing. (turns out I write very well in the morning, who knew) Now though, it's like there's no free time. I know I just have to exercise some discipline, but I'm horribly lazy.

Yes! It's awesome to have the space and only my stuff to worry about. The stress is ebbing away slowly.

You, dear are wonderfully evil! A can of silly string is just what needs to go into the package with his dress slacks and hair brush (he always forgets something that I end up sending down via the post)
