This is Essie 331 "Swing Velvet" in two coats and no top coat. It is a vampy burgundy red shimmer that changes my opinion on red nail polish.
I'm not really a fan of red nail polish. Generally, I think it's either too conservative or it's too gaudy. "Swing Velvet," however, is neither too conservative nor too gaudy. The vampy burgundy makes it beautiful and the shimmer makes it special. I'm not sure what kind of opportunity I'll have to wear this polish and show it off, but I'm definitely not giving it to my mother.
