Rushkin \r(u)-sh-kin\ as a boy's name is of Old French origin, and the meaning of Rushkin is "little red-haired one".
Halloween is tomorrow, and I will be celebrating that by posting Halloween photos that are a year late. Viv came over last night with pumpkins and taught me how to carve pumpkins. I would have totally wanted to do it again this year, but my mother did not like it last year, so I declined for her sake. I might not get to carve a pumpkin again this year, but at least I get to relive it by uploading some photos.
Drawing a face on my pumpkin. It's a very stupid face, but it's my very first pumpkin, so I would hope that it's quite forgiven.
Why does the inside of a pumpkin look so horrific? When Viv told me to scrape the insides outside, I nearly fainted. I had to put my hand inside to scrape that weird stuff out? What if it swallowed my hand?!
When everything was done and finished and I put in a tea light, it showed me that maybe it was worth getting my hand swallowed by a pumpkin.
Viv's pumpkin. There is clearly higher artistry than my pumpkin.
While I was finishing my own pumpkin, Viv started carving a mini pumpkin. It looked awesome.
Viv and I were outside admiring our handiwork when, all of a sudden, the sprinklers started. We freaked out for a moment, then laughed our asses off. Picture taken with a flash.
Again, Viv's pumpkin. It looks so much awesomer than mine. ;_;
All of the pumpkins together. There were only a couple of houses that put up Halloween decorations, but I'd like to think that my pumpkins beat out the rest of the decorations.
