(no subject)
Today was so freaking funny! Kyle and Jean came over, had dinner with me, then we rode Smokey. Jean almost fell over the saddle while trying to get on, Kyle was freaking out when Smokey cantered, then both were talking about how much pain it was since they were guys. Then, Chris calls me and said he was comming! Before he did, I was racing Smokey and almost fell off since he was having fun and wanted to show by crow hopping. The fun got even better once Chris showed up....Kyle got chased by the turkey, acted like it once he was pinned against the fence, then he chased it! He chased it to the front yard where Jean got involved, chased it up the fence line, then almost ran into the makeshift fencing. Chris and I were laughing our heads off. Well, since I was on Smokey, I decided to round the two up. Pinned Jean against the gate then went for Kyle. Had him behind the bush and had to flush him out. Once he came out, I qued Smokey to go, but he took the turn to tight and too fast, so with my weight more to the front since I was trying to race him, he had to make up the light backend by stepping off to the right and I wasnt ready. Needless to say I fell off and freaked Chris out. I hit my right shoulder blade first then head. I didnt feel a thing and was laughing my ass off. Chris was smiling once I stood up and saw nothing was wrong, but he was still shaken. He said he has a problem when he sees people fall and get hurt....being a friend and team member of his, he got scared. Then, he made me laugh after Kyle said my fall was pretty high up and looked like it hurt. I said no it didnt and now you can see why I feel very little pain and why I am so head strong. Chris got us cracking when he said "ya, now I can see why your so head strong...you hit your head too many times!" After my fall, gave Smokey a wash down and tried my hardest to get Chris to come inside and have dinner but he felt uncomfortable and said no. I say its because Jean and Kyle had to leave and he felt insecure being alone at my parents house. The nice part was when he said that the place was nice and asked me why the hell I moved to Metrowest. I said mileage and times I work. Im glad to hear that Chris, Jean, and Kyle want to come out more often as they said its so nice be out somewhere quiet, but only if I am there.
