Hello everyone, updating from the goddamn sunny Kuwait staging area. Apparently part of the regulations is that i have to contact any "Loved ones" within the first week or so of deploying, in order to reduce the number of crazy Red Cross calls, i guess. Eh, i'm not sure, since we're on a base out in the middle of nowhere. I'd assume they're spending their time indoors and enjoying AC...

Yeah, this is actually one of the safest places to be out here, so no worries on that front. It's when we get up north that things will get wonky.

I wish, unfortunately, they hold onto mail for a while to check it all, and they store it in a hot metal con-ex. I don't think the camel would reach you in optimal condition. >.>

And thanks for all the kind worries in your last post. Life isn't that bad at the moment, I'm doing much better and have been for a while. In fact, all in all doing pretty darn schwanky and trying my darndest to get work done on my tut book.

So you just worry about you because we need you to be safe and come back home to us, k?

Yeah, i should be getting an address soon. I'll try and let you know. I'm not really supposed to be eating cookies or candy anymore, but everyone else in the unit would probably thank you. >.>

Like i said, work is fine and all, but don't kill yourself! Get some rest once in a while! (and this is coming from the guy who works 20 hour days)
