I love when people come to visit for Christmas. My favorite thing to answer is "what do we do today?" and the answer is, "First, people come over, then we eat, then we eat again, then we open some presents, then we eat, then some more people come over, then we eat again." Did I mention that we eat?
I don't know what your holiday traditions are, but every day of ours is filled with hours and hours of eating. And no, that's not just for the italian side of the family.
On top of all the eating, I've been having a jolly old time here in the cancerous state of new jersey. Apparently I'm a pretty bad new york city tour guide (so don't ever ask me to take you around). However, OCEAN GROVE, NJ is an interesting place to take people (ahem). Also, WINFIELD PARK, NJ is not nearly as scary at Christmastime. The rows of lights are actually quite cute.
We're going to a college bball doubleheader at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. Exciting. This weekend, I hope to see Sweeny Todd. I also hope I don't get scared like a chicken on Sofia's feast day.
Oh, and just for your information, my brother did get me a pair of his famous "Nike" sneakers for Christmas. Despite the fact that they're two sizes too large, I think I will wear them. Because they are pretty sweet.
