I hate it when it rains.

I used to love it when I was a student. But now that I have certain responsibilities, it's becoming a liability to be automatically "out-of-it" when the weather's damp and cold.

We finally got to chat online with my mom and dad from way over the other side of the world. The flight took 12 hours, and dad didn't get much sleep since he had arrived. I just could not help but ask mom about what she thought about dad's get-up, since I helped him shop for new clothes and shoes a week before his trip.

Mom proposed something last tuesday. A diet that was supposed to "do the trick". And so that we both would be more motivated, we'd have to do it together.
