And it's day 5

Sorry for the late update! Had a smashing great time with Jaz, P chan, Kitel, Raydon, Kelly, Bets, Rio and Danix last Friday. :)
More pictures (and perhaps the only pics) plus a little review of what took place can be found at P chan's multiply site.

We all met up around 3, ate and ate and shared stories and tried to catch up with our best events for the year 2008. Afterwards, because we were talking about Silent Hill, we decided to watch 1408. The CD was cursed (or maybe just damaged) and it would keep stopping at the scary parts so we watched Mirrors instead. We wanted to watch another movie after, but the CD wouldn't work again so we just decided to chat a bit until everyone had to go home. Great times, guys. I hope we can meet up more often!

+++:::++++::::

I've been a little out of it lately. I still can't figure it out-- 5th day of not being able to fall asleep. I close my eyes for a couple of minutes and I feel wide awake again. And I fall asleep at 4 am, get up around midday. UGH. I hate it.

Aside from that though, I've finished God of War, Chains of Olympus. Pretty short game, but playing it again seems interesting because of all the goodies you get once you finish the game.

And I finished Harry Potter books one and two in a span of three days. Come to think of it, I don't think I've read that quickly before. The book's increasing my reading speed. O_o; It's amazing. And so P chan and I went to ATC yesterday just to go window shopping and pick up a few things. On our way to Powerbooks, she suggested that I might want to pick up a copy of Book 3. But lo and behold--- all sold out. Except for two hardcover copies of Book 3... which is not really in my budget at the moment.

Anyhoo, P chan was generous enough to lend me her copies of the four other books and I can't wait to finish them all already. Though,  I'm not sure if I could be able to put the book down when I begin reading it so I'm trying to finish the things I need to get done by next week first. So far though, now I get why the HP fans are so apprehensive (if not violently reacting) against the comparison between Twilight series and the HP series. The literary value of HP (though I'm still at book 2) proves promising. I wouldn't be surprised if there are lit students drafting a thesis on the series...

why didn't I think of that? =__=
