The Midnight Shift
For the past few days, I've been having difficulty falling asleep. But it somehow worked out, because if I was asleep I couldn't have prevented an "unwanted" event. My sister seems to have a serious case of sleep... acting. I thought she was wide awake! All of a sudden, she sits up (eyes open too, mind you) and begins pulling on the cloth of our side table. I didn't realize she was still in dream land until the things on the table began to fall and she was still pulling the cloth. I told her to stop, and go back to sleep (which she did). The next day, she said she didn't remember a thing.
After that, when I finally got to doze off a bit, I woke up again because I couldn't breathe. I realized that it was because my sister had rested most of her weight on my chest while the blanket was treacherously coiled around my neck. After some kicking and shouting for her to move a bit (which did not wake her at all), I got free and transferred to her bed.
And then last night, after our simple New Year's midnight dinner, I thought the glass of wine would help escort me to dreamland. Instead, I tried to fall asleep by reading Harry Potter, checking mail, playing PSP, staring at the wall, staring at the ceiling- and then staring out the window only to find that it was dawn. I eventually fell asleep at 7 am, and got up at 12 in time for lunch.
Getting my body clock back to normal is going to be a little difficult. =__=
Anyhoo, aside from that I've been playing God of War on my PSP. It's very brutal, but I just love the gameplay-- it's addictive! It somewhat reminds me of Castlevania, the hack and slash sort of thing going on, blood splattering here and there, and finding some useful items on the way. I just luff it. :D
But, be warned, it truly is for mature people only. @_@ At the very first stage, After I defeated the second boss, I found a little room where he kept "his women". And I found the two women there, half-clad... (And here I must explain that one reason why I play "in private" is because I tend to talk to myself...it adds some active thought into playing, I'd say. :P)
Me: Oh, poor girls. They were probably that last boss's. Okay, now to set them free.
girls: your grace... *blah blah blah*
Me: *presses buttons to skip dialogue because the frontal nudity was disturbing... not to mention their position*
*hints tell me what buttons to press, and the camera pans to the candlestick on a box beside the girls*
Me: Okay, so now what am I supposed to do?
*sounds of... pleasure... invade the scene, and the candlestick falls off as I enter the right commands*
Me: oh... right. What ELSE was he supposed to do!
I forgot this was a very manly game. LOL!
Needless to say, the only way you could get "extra points" was to do it properly. I set it on mute so it wouldn't be as disturbing. @_@;
