The bug's verse, daemon swamp, Just a normal day?

*Kickback's sitting on the floor just outside the hive; his sketch pad out as he doodles some of the local wildlife and trees.  He's quite into it but that doesn't stop him from checking on Katydid (who's nestled in a tree eating flowers) every now and then

Peace reigns over the swamp, as heavy as the humidity and warmth.

And then a purple and grey Seeker warps into sight right overhead, sending Katydid PINpointing away with a squeak of surprise and fright. Skywarp is in his bot mode, and his arms are wrapped around something green and yellow. Disoriented by the effort of warping while out of jet mode, he tumbles past the hive and lands in the swamp with a splash and a sizzle.

*Kickback jumps a little as the seeker teleports in watching him crash before shrugging* >>It's okay Katy he just fell into the lake you can come back now.<< *he commed her; after all he'd rather have her near him than anywhere else right now* HEY BOMBSHELL, SHRAPNEL WE HAVE A VISITOR! *he yelled into the hive*

*Shrapnel just growls in annoyance* BOMBSHELL TAKE CARE OF IT; IT *he yells to the other bug; far too engrossed in what he's watching...he'll wait to the adverts*

*Bombshell grumbles but gets up and walks out of the hive. He looks over at Kickback* You coming?

*The other bug gives a long eloquent sigh but gets up and puts his pad back into subspace* Yeah; yeah.

*The two wander over to the crash site...not in a particular rush at all* Hey warp enjoy your swim? *Kickback asks slightly irritated.*

The Seeker surfaces, blowing water and swamp muck out of his intakes, then looks down at the small figure in his arms with an expression of panicked dismay. "Sundog? Kid, are you alright?"

The little green and yellow Seeker doesn't reply, and Skywarp's optics go to Bombshell pleadingly as he says, his voice crackling with a bit of static, "He needs help."

Katy is watching all this with amazement from the doorway to the hive. That's another youngling!

*Kickback and Bombshell go wide opticed and look at each other before looking back at Skywarp and co. Bombshell rolls his optics; he's not about to argue with a seeker...besides he wants to set a somewhat good example for Katy (who he just knows is watching)*

Fine; bring him inside so I can take a look at him. *and with that he walks off to go get ready; taking hold of Katy's arm and steering her inside as he does so* Comeon you can help me.

*Kickback just frowns* We're going to need to clean the pair of them off too. *he comments idly. After all they did like a somewhat tidy home* Need a hand? *he asks as he knows full well the swamp waters can be rather irksome to get out of.

The Seeker doesn't even curse at him. He only follows the sound of his voice and steps into the room in time to see Sundog obediently sip the energon... and then purge his tank. "Slag. He has a hard time keeping fuel down when he's sick."

Katydid is on the verge of wibbling with sympathy and concern.

*Bombshell frowns* Kickback clean up duty. *he looks at the seekerling and frowns for a moment before going to his 'medicien cabinet' and picking out a small box* How do you feel about injections? *he asks Sundog directly as he fiddles with the box* Katydid get me the transfusion equipment; you know where it is.

*Kickback just rolls his optics and picks up a mop to clean the floor of energon and mud. After quickly wiping the youngling so he doesn't have any half-proccessed energon on him*

So what happened? *he asks Skywarp as he cleans the floor around the seeker's feet*

The little Seeker shrugs wearily as Katy leaps to obey.

"Thundercracker managed to track me when I went to see him," says Skywarp, frowning from his place by the door and yearning to get closer to the table. "Sundog tried to warp away from him... and his warp takes a lot of energy."

*Bombshell pulls out a BIG needle* I'll have to put this in your main energon line; it's to dull the pain. I may have to check some of you internals to make sure you haven't ruptured anything. *he watches the seekerling to gauge his reaction*

*Kickback frowns at that; but nods anyhow* Katy just pinpoints out whenever she feels threatened perhaps you should teach him to do the same thing till he gets stronger. *He notices Skywarp's a little antsy* He'll be fine you know; Bombshell wont let anything happen to him.

The Seeker goes, his expression absent and pained. "I don't know where Shrapnel is."

*Kickback gently pushes* It's okay I'll take you there. That way we can all wait...if you can put up with soaps.

*Bombshell just makes a shooing gesture before getting work on fixing up and doing maintance on the seeker kid...occcassionally pointing something out to Katy and asking her various questions about the things he's doing.*

"Right... yeah, it's time for 'As the Kitchen Sinks'," says Skywarp absently as he walks obediently ahead of the Insecticon. "I haven't seen that in a few days...."

Sundog's systems look fairly well cared for, but they're running sluggishly, and his spark is only a pale glimmer of what it should be. It's barely strong enough to keep his shell running, and should really have a supplemental power supply to help it out.

*Kickback hmms slightly* Yeah Shrap's really fond of all of those kinda things.

*Bombshell mutters something about seekers and their knowledge of medical matters before he tells Katy to find such a power supply in the supply closet. He hopes it's not too old or bulky for the young mech*

"Sure!" She grabs her toolkit out of subspace and sets to work, humming to herself in her tuneless youngling way.

"I'll let you have 'em if you let Sundog stay here."

*Bombshell just smiles and observes occassionally giving a little helpful advice along the way; he likes to see her happy*

*Kickback tilts his head* Let the seekerling stay hmm? Shrap it's kinda your call? *Kickback observes Skywarp's reaction*

*Shrapnel just tears his attention away from the TV* Well we don't exactly stock energon seeing as we don't need it; it. *he mused out loud* I suppose we could work some way round it though; though.

"I can bring what he needs. He doesn't drink much." Skywarp shifts slightly, his expression pleading. "I just don't have anywhere else for him to go. The femme I left him with took a powder, and Thundercracker knows about the hiding spot we had."

*Kickback muses a little on this* I don't mind having him around; Katy could probably use a playmate.

*Shrapnel shrugs* Providing you do bring everything he needs then I suppose we could make an exception for him; him.

She frowns and puts a protective hand on the little Seeker's head. "I don't want him to die."

Skywarp, meanwhile, has the fidgets. Not knowing what's going on with his sparklet is shortening his already negligible attention span.

*Bombshell finishes his work* He wont; well not anytime soon anyhow. *he smiles slightly* Okay lets bring the little guy back online then; shall we? *he asks her making sure she's paying attention to what she's been taught*

*Kickback is finding Skywarp watching to be quite an amusing task* You know you could just ask. *he piped up quickly discerning what was causing him to figet*

"Alright!" She reaches automatically toward the correct equipment and applies it carefully, then steps back to avoid any flailing that might happen.

Sundog doesn't flail, though. He has very little battle programming, and being sore and afraid tends to make him go very still. Katydid doesn't realize that he's awake at first and frowns at the monitors.

Skywarp looks at Kickback with a confused expression. "Huh?"

*Bombshell watches carefuly and frowns* Alright seekerling you can get up now; we're going to take you to Skywarp *of course Bombshell sees through the youngling playing 'sleeping' he has enough of his lazy team-mates trying something similar*

*Kickback smiles* If you're worried about your seekerling you could just comm Bombshell and ask him what he's doing.
