The bug's verse, daemon swamp, Just a normal day?

*Kickback's sitting on the floor just outside the hive; his sketch pad out as he doodles some of the local wildlife and trees.  He's quite into it but that doesn't stop him from checking on Katydid (who's nestled in a tree eating flowers) every now and then

The Seeker doesn't even curse at him. He only follows the sound of his voice and steps into the room in time to see Sundog obediently sip the energon... and then purge his tank. "Slag. He has a hard time keeping fuel down when he's sick."

Katydid is on the verge of wibbling with sympathy and concern.

*Bombshell frowns* Kickback clean up duty. *he looks at the seekerling and frowns for a moment before going to his 'medicien cabinet' and picking out a small box* How do you feel about injections? *he asks Sundog directly as he fiddles with the box* Katydid get me the transfusion equipment; you know where it is.

*Kickback just rolls his optics and picks up a mop to clean the floor of energon and mud. After quickly wiping the youngling so he doesn't have any half-proccessed energon on him*

So what happened? *he asks Skywarp as he cleans the floor around the seeker's feet*

The little Seeker shrugs wearily as Katy leaps to obey.

"Thundercracker managed to track me when I went to see him," says Skywarp, frowning from his place by the door and yearning to get closer to the table. "Sundog tried to warp away from him... and his warp takes a lot of energy."

*Bombshell pulls out a BIG needle* I'll have to put this in your main energon line; it's to dull the pain. I may have to check some of you internals to make sure you haven't ruptured anything. *he watches the seekerling to gauge his reaction*

*Kickback frowns at that; but nods anyhow* Katy just pinpoints out whenever she feels threatened perhaps you should teach him to do the same thing till he gets stronger. *He notices Skywarp's a little antsy* He'll be fine you know; Bombshell wont let anything happen to him.

Skywarp flinches at the sight of it, but Sundog seems to be fading offline again and shows no reaction whatsoever to the Insecticon scientist's words or actions.

"Maybe if I slagging knew what that was," says Skywarp without anger. He doesn't look too comforted; the Insecticons aren't people he trusts by choice. He's just hoping that their having a youngling too will make them more inclined to help his.

*Bombshell seeing this quickly jabs the needle into his main fuel line and administers the pain killer.* Katy you have that equipment ready? *he calls out*

*Kickback nods* It's a device that takes you to the nexus; it's a safe place of sorts. I'll show you when he's stable. *Kickback doesn't give a damn whether or not Skywarp trusts him or not; in fact he's just enjoying Skywarp being antsy.*

"Right here." She pops up beside him, her optics wide with concern as the readouts on the table make funky sounds.

"That doesn't sound good." Skywarp frowns, his fists clenching at his sides as he's distracted from talking to Kickback.

[insect_kickback]

Good *Bombshell attaches the equipment and administers another 'drug' to help him body get the most out of the energon it can.* Hmm... that would be his energy readings; they should start to stablalise. Now I just need to put him offline so I check his systems. *Bombshell comments off handedly as he works*

*Kickback shrugs* Bombshell's good at what he does; if he says it's going to be fine then it will. Seiriously he's always bruttally honest.

Before he's put offline the little Seeker moves his head slightly, his voice a faint whisper. "'Warp?"

"I'm right here." The Seeker takes a step forward, but then looks at Bombshell and freezes, torn between answering the call and staying on the medic's good side.

*Bombshell rolls his optics* Oh fine you two can have five minutes to talk... I need to get some extra equipment anyhow. Katy stay here and make sure seeker boy doesn't exert himself. Kickback...kick his aft if he makes my patient stressed.

*and with that he walked off to get his equipment*

*Kickback just waited till he was gone before laughing.* Typical Bombshell...a real softie who hates people knowing.

Skywarp looks a little bewildered, but then realizes he's been given permission to go to his youngling and does so. One hand goes to Sundog's helm as the youngster's big optics look up at him wearily. "Shhh, kid. They're gonna fix you. You're gonna be okay."

"...Tired."

"I know." He gently strokes the spot that used to calm the little Seeker when he was tiny and new. "It's alright to rest. Just... make sure you wake up, okay?"

"Yes... yessir." There's a faint grin, and then Sundog's optics go dark as he slips into stasis.

Skywarp bites his lip, so focused on the youngling that he doesn't care what anyone watching will see. His face holds sadness and the pain of a parent who can't fix what's harming their child, and his shoulders and proud Seeker wings are drooping.

Katydid watches this with wide optics, then slips over to lean against Kickback.

*Kickback is slightly amused at the mushy scene but keeps his face neutral and wraps and arm around Katy's shoulders as she leans against him.* It'll be alright Skywarp. Bombshell knows his stuff; you'll see.

*It would be shortly after this that bombshell walks in with a few pieces of equipement and a tool box. He takes everything in and looks at Kickback; quirking an optic*

*The other bug just gives him a somewhat concending look back. To which Bombshell chuckles slightly and walks forward and speaks to Skywarp* Okay you can wait outside while I work. I hate having people hovering over me; so go keep Shrapnel company. Kickback stay with him; Katy you're assisting me.

"Alright." He turns automatically, trained by long vorns of being around territorial medical bots, then pauses at the door to look back despite knowing that it could get him a wrench upside the head or worse.

"Okay." Katydid hugs Kickback, then hops over beside her teacher, her optics wide with curiosity and interest.

*Kickback just hugs Katy back before letting go and ushering Skywarp out a little as he stops;* he'll be fine. Now seriously move it or you may get bitten.

*Bombshell just waves as he gets to work giving the youngling a compleate systems check...occassionally pointing things out to Katy*
