I have the most awesome project ever to start for my Modern and Contemporary Literature class. I never would have taken this class if I hadn't given up on IPHY. After ordering the new power supply my computer magically started working reliably... so now I have a spare.  Which is cool with me - if it breaks again I can fix it right away.  Although I should consider backing things up now that I know what it's like to be without a computer for a week and a half.  It's sad how dependent I am on this machine - ( Read more... )

I have my first big Anatomy Lab practical tomorrow - I'm so nervous.   We've covered the entire skeletal system in great detail so far; so they'll be putting out random bones and I need to be able to identify any bone and/or any feature and tell if the bone is left or right.  intimidating, considering the number of bones in the body...  I'm mostly ( Read more... )

It's funny, because even though Tuesdays and Thursdays are my busiest days this semester, I still have this 3 hour break in the morning that is already making me practically comatose with boredom.  It's too short to go home, but too long to just wait it out in the library.  I suppose I should dedicate it to working out and/or reading for class, but ( Read more... )

I feel so discouraged.  I worked my ass off in high school and I got C's.  I now work my ass off in college and I get C's.  I cannot get into nursing school with C's.  They simply will not accept me.  I don't know if I can do any better - maybe I'm not cut out to be in college.  Maybe I'm just too mediocre...  always the average.  Even with two ( Read more... )
