So I just watched this week's Torchwood, and I'm really enjoying this season much more than the last, but what the fuck is all this Jack/Gwen bullshit? I mean, seriously. And next week it'll be like it never happened. Like Owen/Gwen or Tosh's three boyfriend episodes in a row. Aside from Gwen & Rhys, Jack and Ianto are the only consistent relationship on the show. Plus Jack's too much got a thing with everyone. I mean, we get the pansexual thing without him actually being in love with flipping everyone. I mean, come on:
• The Doctor
• Rose
• that old lady from Torchwood season one
• Ianto
• Gwen
• James Marsters
• Captain Jack Harkness
• that lady in the photo he was married to
• and, to a lesser extent, Martha
I mean, really, it's just getting ridiculous. Put a lid on it, RTD. Besides, I felt the interaction with Jack and Gwen was always more of a straight girl/gay best friend thing. And of course there's some attraction there, but nothing would ever even come of it. Anyway, it's just lame that they felt the need to take it to a stupid place.
