I forgot how much I hate reading sheet music. Trying to read it, more like. Well, it has been almost fifteen years since I took piano lessons, and even then it was tough for me. So now I'm trying to learn The Luckiest to do at my nephew's graduation party, and the lack of practice is a serious hindrance. Thankfully, no one else is home to be driven crazy by the broken phrases and endless repetition.
Plus I should have chosen an easier song. Or at least one with less stretching. Even now, I can barely span an octave, so at this point my hands are getting pretty sore.
