Let's know the knowledge of the people in the past and enjoy summer
- I love summer! It's really hot but if you eat cold things, and wear thin clothes you'll be okay! For summer fashion, of course it's half pants. If I could, I'd wear them everyday but I only have three pairs. I want to go shopping! Fashion is probably more fun in the winter because you can have different outers, but summer is summer and you can have a rough type of style. I also like picking out teeshirts ♪ I found a teeshirt that I bought last year, and I felt like I gained something [he used the word otoku, and that can also mean profit.] Not just only with fashion, but having fun is what helps you get over the hotness.
- I have a fuurin on my porch. [a japanese wind chime for during the summer]. I got it last year from my work, but I love that cool sound. [cool as in temperature, btw] The people that made the fuurin in the old days are amazing. Right now, "Proposal Daisakusen" is over, so I have a lot of time. Some days I sleep the whole day but sometimes I wake up early and take a walk around the neighborhood. I love the air in the morning. Just with that, I feel like I can have a better day. [Then he quotes an old saying, that says something about waking up early is something three times... idk. ><;] People in olden days were amazing!

Let's go outside during the summer ☆
- During the summer, I'm the type that goes outdoor a lot. Every year I go to the ocean a lot~ . Because I think that during summer, if you're at home it gets even more hot. In my house there's air conditioning but going out side to the beach or to the park feels better and it feels a bit cooler. Of course, if you go to Shibuya or anywhere with asphalt, it's going to be hot. If I can't stand the hotness there I run into a Conbini [convenience store]. And, I look at the magazines and after I cool down a bit, I go outside a gain. If I don't buy anything I feel bad, so I always buy a bottle of juice.
- During the summer I don't have much of an appetite so I eat a lot of things that are tsuru tsuru [that word is often used for noodles, and things that go down easily down the throat]. Hiyashi Chuka [a cold noodle dish], soumen, ramen... Oh yeah, my family is a Ramen-ya [I guess you could call it a Ramen Resturaunt]. So when on the menu we say "we started hiyashi chuuka" I feel like summer came. Oh, and also the posters of models in swimsuits selling beer, Did you know that every year we put up a new one? When I see those two things, I feel like going and driving in the car with my windows open and drive around the ocean side. Oh and now that I think about it, I always run it a lot~.

You have to have this in your room!
- I don't have an air conditioner in my room... But recently I bought a fan. And it works so well~! Whenever I go home, I turn it on and then I go to the living room because it has an AC. And, when I'm done eating and I've cooled down, I go back to my room. It's perfect. When it's really hot, I have it on double. I think it's better for your body than keeping the air conditioner on all night. Oh, and by the way, my appetite doesn't go down at all during the summer. Even on a hot day, I eat really hot ramen. And then after I go in front of the fan and it feels really good *heart mark*
- During the summer, I don't like the fact that when ever I do something I get sweaty. When it's before work and all I'm doing is walking to there, and I get all sweaty, I hate that. So during the summer, I don't even want to go shopping. But summer has things that are more fun than that. Like the ocean, pools, and festivals. I like festivals because you can have yaki soba even if it's at night. I don't really make yaki soba that much at home so I think of it as festival food and it makes me happy. And I also like festivals because of the lights outside at night. I love the atmosphere! I should go this year, too.
Comments are great! It makes me feel really good about translating and makes me want to do more ^^b
This was sort of a hard one because there are so many Japanese terms in it. ^^;;
