Tekkoshocon V - Sunday
I woke up to Zack's hand on my hip, my legs curled up hanging off of the bed and half the blanket gone . . .oh and the faint annoying sound of a horrible hotel alarm clock. I hit the snooze buton and fell back asleep only to wake up to random music . . .snooze button. Then "This Ain't A Scene" came on, Sarah made a comment and we eventually woke up.
Nick and I pilmgrimaged out again to K-Mart for throat spray and throat lozenges for Zack because he was not feeling at all well. I told Mike and Sarah to just let him sleep some more until we came back. We then went to McDonald's, grabbed some breakfast for everyone and then stopped for tea for Nick, Zack, and myself. We ate, I packed up my stuff and then tossed all of Zack's stuff in his trunk so he could rest some more. We eventually had to wake him up because we needed to be out of the room by noon, but we also needed to get into costume (Zack-Sasuke, Nick-Zell, and me-Sakura). I did the tattoo on teh side of Nick's face which turned out pretty well and Zack made an awesome Sasuke . . .even though I've only seen one episode of Naruto so I spent the entire day asking Mike questions about my character and everything. We pulled a stop in the dealers room, bought some stuff, I go a Naruto headband and we ran into Jake again and chilled a bit with him.
FOr the final time we hit up the RBG, Nick did one round on his own in which he was killed, I ran up and gave him a hotdog which he took a bit and was revived (people loved it and he got a green Mario mushroom for it ^_^). Zack and I joined on a team (A team of Sakura and Sasuke) with Nick on the opposite team in which I yelled "Zell, look a hot dog!" which got a couple laughs, but not as much as when Zack did two moves, I yelled out "Sasuke!", ran and jumped on him knocking him to the ground. He didn't move so my characetr got angry . . .we ended up winning though so that was a plus. I even got an extra life because someone hit me with an extra life green mushroom (I didn't get to keep it *tear*). Let's just say that there was an interesting Captain Planet and lots of Sparta/300 references.
I called up my dad before the closing ceremonies and he said it would take him about an hour to get there so we sat and watched the closing ceremonies, but had to leave halfway through the AMV winners so I guess we'll never know who won the last two categories. We packed up my dad's car once more, this time in costume in the snow >.< And left . . .left the memories and experience of Tekko 5 behind as we drove away from the ExpoMart. Mike and Nick both fell asleep on the way back, Zack just looked out the window, and I told few stories about what had happened the entire weekend to my dad. We dropped everyone off in front of Zack's house and then headed back. We pulled a stop at Giant Eagle in which I was still dress as Sakura so I got quite a few looks, but *shrug* oh well.
Let's just say that I will never forget what it's like to be the single girl amongst a room of boys, I now know how to fight RBG-style, not everyone can tell tarot, raves make you sore for days after . . .like an aftershock, do not pillow fight drunk or give rum to pirates and wenches for that matter . . .nevermind DO give it to us. I got some really interesting pictures and there are just some memories that I will not be able to forget, somethings that I may have forgotten to write about. This was a weekend that fucked with my emotions, but made me the happiest I have been in a while . . .I was lost, I had a blast, I wanted to cry, I want to yell out 'I Love You!", and I wanted to eat some pocky (which I did that night ^_^).
