so it's been awhile and obviously this won't be everything i've watched since the last time i posted movie opinions.
10000 BC: i watched this on the plane home from germany. oh it was hilarious. mystical healer woman, prophecies, mammoths building the pyramids, and corn (for those of you unaware, corn is a new world domesticate and this is clearly supposed to take place in europe and northern africa). if you want a good laugh, watch it.
the spiderwick chronicles: watched this on the plane to germany. it was good although i did think the end came on pretty suddenly. then i have to remind myself that it's a kids movie.
the dark knight: i'm so happy i finally got to see this. i really liked heath ledger as the joker. the sonar technology part of the suit i thought was really f*cking cool. i'm now wondering who the next villain is going to be since they killed off two-face and, as my friend put it, the joker killed himself off (unless they recast it).
aresnic and old lace: this was funny but i didn't get as into it as i thought i would. maybe i just wasn't in the right mood when i watched it.
i'm not there: holy crap this was good. you might expect following 6 different characters as one person's story would be confusing, but it wasn't. and cate blanchett was amazing.
bill: meh, this was alright. aaron eckart plays a middle aged man going through a crisis (hates job, cheating wife, etc.). the timeline of the movie (days, weeks, months) was unclear but it all felt rushed.
