Why I love Kanjani8
So as most of you know a friend of mine got my (back) into japanese pop music through KAT-TUN whom I adore (not just cause their pretty either) but through KAT-TUN in a sort of round about way I found Kanjani8 who I am completely and totally in love with (yes I'm a 15 year old girl).
So because I still feel the need to explain and share my crazy japanese obsessions, I'm pimping out Kanjani8. It's up to you to decide to read and enjoy the absolute insanity or not.

10. The long hard journey this band had to take to make it to where they are now. They have survived losing a member of their band for reason to be explained later. Two years where it seemed like they would never get work as musicians and they had all but given up hope but they stuck together and made it through and now they are one of the top groups in thier agency...all while never giving in to outside pressure to be different then what they really were.
9. Member-ai....what does this mean? Well member-ai is the love each member has for every other member of his group. These boys have been together for 10 years, 4 of them as an official group. They tease, and piss eachother off but at the end of the day they have each other's backs and they say that their bond cannot be severed. Also for the last two years they have been without one member of their group due to some youthful stupidity but they always leave a space for him in photoshoots, interviews and on stage, they even wear his colour (pink) just to make sure he's never forgotten.

8. Eito rangers........there are no explanations.....this could go under insanity too....this kinda still blows my mind....A band who does skits like the power rangers. They even have their own colours!!!

7. Murakami Shingo aka Hina aka Purple Ranger (doing names the japanese way, last name first)
Hina is 26 years old. He's the least crazy member....which isn't saying much. He keeps everyone together and on track and is a bit of a mama bear when it comes to the other members of Kanjani8, but he's not scared of hitting them when they're being stupid, which is most of the time. I'm completely terrified of this man, he looks like he hits hard....
6. Maruyama Ryuhei aka Maru aka Orange Ranger
Maru is 24 years old. He's.......interesting. He says that he just likes to make people laugh no matter what, he doesn't mind if they are laughing at him; and he achieves this well. He acts nuts but is a real sweetheart and is currently helping put his younger siblings through school. He's Kanjani8's bassist.
5. Ohkura Tadayoshi aka Tacchon aka Green Ranger
Tacchon is 23 years old and the tallest member (yes I had to mention that). He doesn't talk much and always seems to have his head in the clouds but his cuteness makes up for that. The boy loves food, seriously, I've seen him throw a fit when he couldn't have food....on television!!! He's also the drummer of Kanjani8 which he learned how to play two months before Kanjani8 debuted....he's just that good.
4. Nishikido Ryo aka Ryo aka Yellow Ranger aka Sexy Osaka Man aka the one I'm not suppose to like but do
Ryo is 24 years old and well.....um........Ryo? He belongs to two groups NewS and Kanjani8, though he was in Kanjani8 first. He was a shrimp for a very long time but his huge smile and dimples have always been the same. He and a member of KAT-TUN actually had a (fake) rivalry which was staged and is now resolved, I'm not suppose to like him because of this but he kind of.....grows on you like fungus...just like the rest of Kanjani8. He plays guitar as well.
3. Yasuda Shota aka Yasu aka Blue Ranger aka OMG nothing can be that cute!!!!!
Yasu is 24 years old and the cutest thing ever invented. He loves everyone and everything and is kind to everyone and everything. I want most of the clothing he wears.....he paints his nails and wears skirts whenever he wants to. He's not scared to cry in public and is called by several members of Kanjani8 as Kanjani8's girlfriend. He's teased for being gay but we don't know for sure. He writes a lot of the songs Kanjnai8 sings and is a guitarist.
2. Shibutani Subaru aka Baru aka Red Ranger
Baru's is 27 years old. He is the lead singer and guitarist of Kanjani8. He has a skull tattoo on his right hand and several earrings. He has an amazing voice and is very shy and self-concsious despite his rockstar image. He had a bad time when he was about 19 and needs all the love he can get and he deserves it too.
1. Yokoyama Yuu aka Yoko aka Black Ranger
Yoko is 27 years old and he gets two pictures because he's my favourite. He's loud, obnoxious and dorky on television but appartently in real life he's quiet, shy and completely self-conscious and he has no faith in himself. He gets sulky when people don't pay attention to him but he's a sweetie. Once he stayed up with Ryo when Ryo was sick so he could take care of him. He's an awesome actor too and he beat out the two KAT-TUN boys that were in the same drama as he was, at least I think so.
