okee dokee.
not a bad day.
i was up till 3am last night, cataloguing 2 boxes of comic books that had belonged to my brother... only to find out that 98% of what i have is considered "New Age" (1980 and newer), and therefore virtually worthless.
maybe i'll get lucky with the few Hulk and Spiderman and Thor ones, but we won't know yet.
i have Cure vinyl up on eBay, and had to relist 2 Cabbies- one that didn't get any bidders and one that was actually won, but the buyer has gone missing and hasn't paid.
so today i slept till 10.
sis and i both got our periods last night (full moon) and she came to my room this morning looking like death on toast, so she said she was staying home sick from work.
we stayed in.
at first, we were in our own rooms, in our own beds, watching tv between nap jerks. then she comes to my room around 2 and asks, "will you be embarrassed to be seen with me at Wally World?"
we both got into our jeans, bras, flipflops and tanktops.
a pair of bookends, we were.
at Wal Mart we got a garden hose (cos ours ripped), lawn seed & fertilizer (cos our yard looks like The Munsters'), maxi pads, cat litter and cat food.
then she treated me to lunch at the chinese food place- "lunch plate four dallah!"
now we're in the living room, watching "I Love the 70's" part 2
i'm actually having a good day, despite the cramps and the low throbbing dull ache of yesterday's self-loathing session. LOL!
