friday i went to the library.
i got a few books on how to "go green", that now i don't think i will read because i'm too busy with the book i got that's all about how to make homemade beauty products.
WOW!
let's just say that from 8am till about 4pm, i was writing down as many recipes as i thought i could possibly do.
5-6 i was shopping for items i didn't already have in the house.
6.30-7.30 i sat in my room with my hair saturated in black strap molasses with a plastic baggie over it.
7.45 i sat in a warm tub, scrubbing into my elbows knees, buttocks, feet and shoulders a scrub that i had made with coconut oil, sea salt and actual beach sand.
8pm i "washed" with a mix i had made out of plain yogurt, honey and wheat germ.
after getting out of the tub, i used an astringent on my face that i had made out of just chamomile tea.
then i moisturized with a balm i made with coconut oil, cocoa butter and a TAD of petroleum jelly.
- i moisturized the lips, the nose (which is peeling from my sunburn), elbows, shoulders, face, neck and knees.
I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN!
i especially feel like a fresh, clean, exfoliated and moisturized woman.
i even put my cocoa butter balm on my feet, and have them "stewing" with a pair of soft cotton socks. i need to actually do that routinely, cos i have callused and very dry feet.
YAY!
can't wait to share my overstock with Jennifer- see how she likes it.
tomorrow i am going to try to make an avocado face mask
