(no subject)
just got back from the mall and i spent tons of money on not much and not really for me haha. we were going to the outlet mall near dulles and so we stopped by the dulles town center first. We ate there (had a flamer's burger which i havent had in foreeeever) and my meal was almost 12 bucks. went to spencers and then i got a puppy dog hat for ryan and one for denise for her xmas gift because she really liked my hat. That turned out to be a 30 dollar purchase. Then i stopped by borders and was soooo drawn in by a) buy 4 get 1 free and 2) bargain books. I found 2 books that are kinda like young teen about some kid learning about him being a magic sorcerer and him needing to go to the secret brotherhood or something like that. I figured it sounded kinda like percy jackson and harry potter so i decided to get it. there was i guess a book 1 and 2 cuz they were next to each other and about the same character so i got each for only 4 dollars when they are hardcover books that are normally 18 dollars. Then I got ryan 2 books cuz we are almost out of books for him to read here at the house that we own and then I decided to get a classic literature book for myself. I got 100 years of solitude cuz i have been waiting to read that and figured i might as well get it in order to complete the buy 4 get 1 free. I looked through their classic literature section they apparently made up (cuz it was a borders express) and so i read most of them/owned most of the ones that were in there so i just decided to go with the 100 years of solitude i found in the regular fiction section. then when i rang up i was nice enough to buy a 4 dollar book for some type of fund that they are collecting for kids so my total came to around 35 dollars. then when we went to the outlets my sister and i decided to split a 12 dollar glow in the dark dinosaur pajama pants set for ryan. then on the way home i spent ten bucks at a gas station convenience store because i found some four loko alcoholic drinks that ive been wanting to try. i got a watermelon and a fruit punch flavor. ive decided to try and get all the different flavors that i can (i think theres about 9 or 10) and try them and share them with ppl cuz i hear that they are not gonna be selling them any more because it is too much of a powerful substance or something like that. So i basically spent 100 bucks today on giftsish. I was on the hunt for a jacket that is good for rain cuz all i have are cotton jackets/hoodies but i had no luck. i dont want a big poofy one and i want one with fleecy lining on the inside. I saw a really nice one when we were at some outdoorsy store that were north face jackets but those are 160 bucks. im not ready to spend that much just yet.
