personal undate
This was a very busy weekend. But I feel like I got alot done, while alot of other things did not get done. There is never enought time.
I went to a friends house and got mroe sewing done on the faire households then I thought I would but less then I would have liked. but all the hard bits are done. now there is just lots of careful sewing and yards, and yards of pleating to do. But I was showned a VERY cool store in southern Berkelery. I could have spend hours just looking at the books. And a closer place to get boneing/patterns/other stuff.
I had dinner with a very dear friend on saterday night. She now has a job up in Euraka, working for a ( as green as it can be) logging company. It is a good career move for her. But it means she will have to live in Euraka, Ug.
on sunday I went to stitches west(knitty con). I spend two or so hours petting yarn. I got only two small skeins of Tofosities yarn, for my summer weight faire socks. And two dyeing books, on how to dye with natural plants. very cool
We spend the evening at a friends house in the city, I cooked fried chicken, which everybody said was good. I thought it was too salty, it will be better next time.
