So yesterday was "Tsunami Day." We got to dress down and go to classes but learn about the disaster instead. Well the day started off with free, then Social Justice. Mr. Michaud shows some films that link to the solidarity as a result of the deadly tsunami. Then I find out I got a 99 on his exam! So in calculus there really wasn't anything about the tsunami. Just a handout on topographical maps then reviewing the exam. I did terrible.
Spanish was most likely the ONLY class that was linked to the tsunami. We read an article (written in Spanish) about how the tsunami formed and how animals felt it coming and escaped. Physics ... I don't think we did ANYTHING. Mr. Kelley read some unusual articles and spoke about the blizzard that hit us. Then was lunch, followed by psych where we just spoke about getting our AP Exam Study guides. Nothing related to the disaster. Then English where I had to compare the Koran and the Bible. No relation yet again. So all in all tsunami day was only evident in my Spanish class.
After school I went to the gym again. I feel I'm really getting an awesome workout. Hopefully I'll have a stronger physique when I enter college. Well, I don't NEED it but my mom is weird and feels I need to be in better shape. Oh yeah, I also drove my brother there later on and picked him up. So I made 3 round trips to the gym and back which was kinda boring, but it's a short trip.
So today is yet another snow day. Yay for no school, except I couldn't go back to sleep after learning about the day off. Whenever I wake up I can never go back to sleep. So that's why I'm typing this up right now, especially since I forgot to update yesterday. I have the day all to myself ... except I have to work at 3. I called out Sunday and I don't want to call out again. So I guess I'll have to fight the snow and put 4 hours of my free time into helping anyone that decides to Stop and Shop today, as if they're really going to do so.
