I just saw Equilibrium and The Lookout. AMAAAZING. Equilibrium blew my mind. I dont know why i was surprised. Christian Bale has never done anything that i didnt love. And joseph gordon-levitt is becoming one of my favorite actors. He rocked my world in Brick, and he was just as kickass in The Lookout. It makes me sad for actors like Hayden Christiansen, who was sooooo perfect in Life As A House and Higher Ground. But then he followed it up with Star Wars and its been downhill from there. I KNOW he's capable of kicking ass. I dont know why he stopped. Did George Lucas break him?
But yeah, ive had a really interesting tv watching weekend. The Lookout, Equilibrium, the fifth season of Mi-5 aka Spooks. They all blew my mind. Maybe thats why ive been so inspired to run again. Watching all these men and woman kick ass. I wish I had a hundred bucks a month to take krav maga. Why don't they offer it on a class by class basis? WHY?
