Well, there are few things that can manage to put a damper on a good mood like death.
Really, though, this good mood was an exceptionally good one of its kind (rather excessive amounts of really good sex for a month after a two-and-a-half-year drought?) and her death resulted, mostly, in annoyance over a loss of some kind (not being quick enough or smart enough to escape said death) -- so should you look in one of the rooms just off of the main one, you'll find Tori Hades being not depressed or drained or discomfited, but impatient.
She's pacing the room, glancing at the doorway every few seconds, because she's waiting for her family (and a few others) to show up so that she can reassure them that she's all right -- because she is, really, both physically and mentally, her foremost concern is just making sure that they know this. (Possibly with some ulterior motive -- she hasn't been pleased about her sex at nearly enough people yet.)
