Part 2 | Part 3

----------

Katara was six years-old when she almost drowned in the lake at her parents cabin house. Luckily her brother had seen her, dived into the water and saved her. Her parents never let her go near the lake, or any body of water, again for a long time afterward; were too scared to. They assumed that because Katara herself stayed as far away from water as possible that she was scared, too.

And she was scared of the water, that much was true. Except, Katara wasn’t scared of the water because she had nearly drowned. Katara was scared of the water because, as she was drowning, struggling frantically for her life, the water had moved. It had circled around her, away from her face, creating an air pocket that allowed her to breath for those seemingly endless seconds before Sokka had reached her.

And even though she didn’t know how she knew, only that she just did, Katara was sure that the one who had really saved her life hadn’t been her brother. It had been her.

AN: It's short, but all three parts of the crossover are just drabbles, so sorry for anyone who was hoping for something a little longer. Leave a comment and let me know if you liked it. :D
