A haunting movie.
Say what you will about plot holes and interminable explanations, POTC3 works. I loved it. I laughed and I almost cried at the end. I totally did not expect that particular ending. Still it worked and I'm haunted by the final image of Orlando Bloom standing in the rigging...
I won't post any spoilers. Just that I liked it and I'm glad my friends told me that there is always a bonus scene AFTER the credits. It totally made the entire trilogy for me. I truly believe in the power of love.
I've heard rumors that there may be a 4th movie. Nothing specific. And the ending leads one to believe that yes, these characters have some unfinished business.
