Sakura, our black Lab mix puppy, was adopted recently through Labs4Rescue! She is the one that was dumped on us the Friday after Katrina. We think her owners were New Orleans evacuees who just could not keep her where they were staying. Anyway, long story short, Sakura left on a truck transport on Thursday to go to her new family in MA. I posted some pictures of Sakura that day. You can see them here in my moblog:

Anyway, I am so excited! I just got an email from the new family! Sakura has arrived safely in MA! She is in quarantine at the vet foster for 2 days. The Vet was very impressed with her health and her mellow, sweet personality! I am so happy that the long drive did not seem to affect her attitude. She gets to be with her new family in two days. I'm looking forward to hearing how she adjusts to her new home.
