SPN Filming Locations: February 9th for 4x18
Big, huge thanks to darklydean for the following information and her great report from the filming location that long, chilly day.
While Jared was down in sunny LA for the whole press junket and premiere of "Friday The 13th", Jensen was still up in Vancouver filming scenes with Jared's stunt double for this week's episode - 4x18 "The Monster At The End Of This Book".
It was a full day, from early morning until late at night.
From darklydean's report SPOILERS!:
"The set up/plot at this location was Dean 'locking up' the impala. He locks the driver's door and then walks around to check the passenger side then walks across the street in front of the burgundy mini-van. He gets stuck by the mini-van and ends up briefly unconscious. When he awakens on the street, a woman and young girl are standing over him. The little girl has played 'doctor' and placed pink bandaids on his face. Slightly stunned, Dean gets up and walks back to the Impala and finds that it has been broken into - the back window has been smashed and something has been taken."
They filmed the Impala's back window being broken in the parking lot of a convenience store on the corner of Pacific and Stayte in White Rock (1 hour south of Vancouver).
They then filmed Dean getting hit by the mini-van near that same corner, but on the street (maybe on Pacific Drive/10th Ave itself). Later on in the afternoon the production moved across the street on 160th Street (which is also Stayte) at the Cedar Lane Motel. The motel, btw, has hideous pink doors & pink lights outside. LOL! The motel scenes were with Jared's stunt double and Jensen.
Another bit of report from darklydean:
"...they did a couple shots of the Impala pulling into the parking lot and (from what the crew told me) were going to do more shots on the motel lot and inside... late into the night.">

White Rock is very close to the U.S./Canada border. Check it out on this map where I've marked where the production was that day.
