Apart from the limp, you mean? =P I was quite well until Christmas day, does that count? ^^;

Given that I've spent so much of the holidays 1) sewing, or 2) recovering from sewing-related accidents, I don't think I've got much room to talk there. >.>

I'm sorry you got hurt, but I'm glad to hear they got the needle out. Hope you get well soon!

Wait, they make figures of Ky? I thought there only were resin kits of him, no finished figures... I looked everywhere and couldn't find any.

And the carnivorous plant sounds like a really cool present. Now your sister can actually claim that her house has got death traps ;P

Not without some difficulty, we're talking general anesthetic here. ._.

Not in recent years, but a friend of mine living in Japan was lucky enough to find one from an old gashapon set in a second-hand store. There was a Sol figure with it too which she sent to velithya (my Sol-cosplayer friend). Found the same set on ebay here - not sure why the original coloured Sol isn't included in the picture though. They're only a few centimetres high, for reference, but really quite well made.

Aha, true! But only if you're a fly. =P

Oh, people don't need to know that. Just say that your house has got death traps that drop the victim into a pit of acid, and let them make assumption *evil laugh*

Anyway, I wanted to ask you, do you by any chance ever use MSN? Talking with you is always so fun, I'd really like to have a chat with you ^^

our house has sharp pointy spikes sticking out of the carpet at times, does that count? and a Dalek.

I haven't actually used MSN in ages - everyone I chat with regularly uses Gmail chat these days, which does handy things like keeping chat logs and runs from my email window. I guess I could hop on MSN sometime if that's all you've got though?

Oh my... sad to hear that... I almost sticked one in my finger since I was sewing but... ack! Hurthurthurt! *scared*

How are you now? The foot is still painful?

Poking yourself in the finger with a pin now and then is pretty standard in sewing. This, not so much. -_-

It's not that bad, but I can't really walk on it properly. Been hobbling around the house on my heel.

You should get Lisa to piggyback you everywhere until your foot heals :D

I got exactly what I wanted from Santa this year - SLEEP! I slept right through Christmas. It was quite fantastic. Come Boxing Day I had the energy of a bear that had the energy of two bears. Which I happily squandered hunting for Boxing Day bargains around Cockburn Central and Perth.

She's already driving me places and doing all the chores I can't pull off while limping. I do not want to push my luck. >.>

As contrast to me, who did not sleep much at all on Christmas night, and spent Boxing day alternately a) sleepy, b) under anesthetic, c) extremely woozy due to anesthetic, or c) passing out in the late afternoon and not waking up again until the following morning. Bit of a monotonous day, really.

Sleep is wonderful, but sometimes better in smaller doses.
