I've been writing stories since I was a child, but as a teenager, was drawn to writing m/m fic, and like you, felt I was alone in this "abnormal" practice Discovering the internet allowed me to find so many women like myself who loved writing the same kinds of stories. Places like LJ showed me that I wasn't alone.

Exactly!! That was exactly my experience too!! I was, frankly, flabbergasted when I discovered how much slash there was on the Internet, and how many women felt just like I did. It was a revelation in my life and changed how I felt about myself completely.

That kind of moment is so rare!! I'm glad you've been part of my journey. I'm glad we shared that rare moment.
