Something In the Water
So it would seem that something strange is going on. A ton of the people I know of or about are having problems in their relationships. I’d be curious to find out if there’s any “reason” or pattern to it, (astrology wise) or if it’s just that time of year. Speaking of that. Asher’s gone, and already misses being here. Poor guy.
Dave came up for a bit on Sunday and we played some WoW. 'Becca came with us when we walked downtown and got some pizza from Pizza My Heart. The day was nice and it was a good time. Later she headed off to catch a movie with David. I ended up making Dave and I spaghetti for dinner. It was quite the red sauce day. I like those days.
I’m back at Lulu’s and trying something different. I’m not behind the corner, but against the wall where most of the laptop people cluster. (There’s an outlet with a huge splitter nearby.) The wireless is much better out here. Probably not enough to play WoW in a semiserious fashion, but enough to check e-mail and read some web comics, which is much better than back in the corner.
The one drawback was that I had my back to where the bathroom door was so there’d be people opening and closing a door right behind my head. I never got it cracked by the door, but it wasn’t the most comfortable seating local. The people who were at another table left and now I’m sitting on the other side. It’s much better.
I think I figured out why my Personals ad is a total flop. I’d used a nickname that I thought would refer to a part of me that is very obvious and definitely me. However, I didn’t think through the other interpretations. Tagline reads, “Mr. Godiva Seeks Lady.” Now, if you know me, this can really make sense. However, if you don’t know me, here’s a few of the things you could think of: I’m really into chocolate. I’m a nudist or like to ride horses while nude. I want a woman who’s into nudism or riding horses nude.
Yeah. I really need to change that. (You can go a head and laugh for a while. I was chuckling most of the day over this.)
