I finally played and beat Chrono Trigger!  (...After much encouragement from a certain brother and, more recently, my husband.)  And yes, it was just as good a game as all the hype made it out to be.  And I decided that I love playing on an emulator because I can fast forward through battles holding down the A button and it makes leveling my party ( Read more... )

I LOVE old school RPG's . . . do you have Final Fantasy 3?

And what do you mean use an emulator to get through battles? Are you CHEATING??!?!?!?!? Pssshh. It's not REALLY beating the game unless you've put in your 60 hours worth of leveling up :)

I do indeed have FF3 (on my computer). Come to think of it, I believe we saw two copies for sale at Provo Towne Centre a few days ago as well... if you have a Super Nintendo to play them on, that is.

And I don't cheat in battles... I just make them go really fast so that I don't get bored. :P I still put in a good 20 hours, don't worry. Chrono Trigger isn't really a 60 hour game anyway, I even did all the optional side quests.

I like how your mood is productive on an entry about how you spent the entire three day weekend playing Chrono Trigger.
I knew I married the right person! :D

For the record, I said I was productive because I cleaned the apartment, did the dishes, made dinner, went grocery shopping, organized my file box, and did all my homework. AND beat Chrono Trigger. I just didn't bother to mention the rest in my post. Priorities, you know. :P Plus hearing about me clean is boring.
