I got an amazingly lot of things done yesterday. Especially considering I slept in until 11. But by far my favorite accomplishment of the day was setting up my parents' internet thingy to broadcast a wireless signal throughout our house, which evidently it has been capable of doing since they got it... if only I had known this before...
The best part about this is that now I get internet in my room. This means I can webcam with red-haired boy without my entire family (well, the ones currently at home, anyway) listening in. Such luxury!
I also unpacked all my stuff. After only 2 days of it covering my entire floor. And did my laundry. This led to the realization that I have quite a lot more shirts than I previously thought...
I even did a little job research. Not much to report on that yet.
I made a goal when I got home to go through all my stuff I've been storing here in my parents' house and get rid of a lot of it. Clearly I won't miss it terribly, since its been here 3 years without me needing it. Maybe I'll work on that today...
Oh, for the complete breakdown of my sleep deficit last week, Thursday night I stayed up exceptionally late, restoring my kitchen to pristine condition for final cleaning checks. My hands have finally recovered from all the chemicals. I'm pretty sure I used an entire tub of Lysol wipes on the stove/oven area. Rachel and I even went the extra mile and cleaned under the refrigerator... it was nasty. And then I realized I still had to clean my bedroom, but I hadn't finished packing yet... that made things interesting. I finally made it to bed around 5am.
According to red-haired boy, I was acting very strange and kind of like i was high the next morning when I met him for breakfast at 9. Apparently it was quite a potent mix of chemical fumes and sleep deprivation...
Anyway, the next night I didn't get much sleep because a) I was moving all my ridiculous amounts of stuff to where I'm keeping it this summer, b) I had family stuff going on all evening, c) it was my last evening in town, and d) the girls living in my apartment spring term moved in and were watching videos on YouTube at 2:30am very loudly. (And they evidently didn't care that I was trying to sleep on the couch, or that they took over my bed without my permission. (I did decide to sleep on the couch before that, but it's the principle of the thing.)) Good thing I don't have to live with them.
