Ueda ran towards the rooftop with teary eyes and a bleeding heart. Another series of fights, another basket of insults. He opened the door and hid himself at a corner. There, he let tears rolled down his cheeks as fast as the Niagara Falls. He kept wiping but the crystal beads kept flowing out. He hated himself for not being able to retort back. He hated it even more when he saw the satisfaction in a certain man’s eyes after pools started to form under his eyes. He was angry at himself for letting the other man to do it again and again, complaining about his hairstyles and fashion sense. He did makeovers now and then just because he wanted attentions from him. And when he got the attentions he wanted, he hated it.
“…baka…I’m stupid enough to love him and yet I still want attention?? Wake up Tatsuya! You’re a man, an idol. Lots of girls worship you. You shouldn’t let some stupid words from a man shorter than you to break your heart, should you? He is not worth it to be cry for…” he tried to convince himself by saying that. But still, tears never stop.
“…but I love him…and it hurt…why he can’t love me back?” Ueda sobbed. “…maybe I should just…get over him…”
“No you shouldn’t!” Ueda looked up. It was Pi in front of him.
“Yamashita-kun?” he said, wiping the rest of the tears with his arm sleeves. He was shocked to see the leader of NEWS in front of him and embarrassed because Pi saw he cried.
“…what are you doing here?” Pi scratched his head. He wasn’t supposed to be seen by Ueda.
“…err…I swear I wasn’t eavesdropping…I was waiting for Jin and Kame…”
Flashback
Pi yawned. He stretched his arm and leg after the nap he took. Suddenly, something caught his attention. A sobbing sound and a white creature at a hidden corner. Pi felt his hair bristled.
“…what the…I never knew there’s ghost at jimusho…moreover, a girl ghost? I’m dead…”he whispered to himself. Pi walked closer towards the corner and stood beside the wall. Trying to see what the thing is despite the scared feeling he had.
The more he heard the creature whined to itself, he finally knew who it was. Ueda Tatsuya.
“…stupid Ryo-chan and his never stopping insults…he even made Ueda cried…he is so going to get it after this…”Pi kept on hearing what Ueda said until the ‘get over’ part. He unconsciously stepped forward.
End of flashback
“…and where are they?” Pi looked to his right and left. I’m dead…a squeaking sound was heard after Ueda’s question. Jin and Kame looked exhausted. Pi immediately walked towards the couple and hugged them. Both of them were shocked.
“…sshh…thank you for saving my life…now, we’ve got works to be done and both of you shall comply or I’ll tell what you guys did just now…what’s important is teamwork…”
Ueda stuck his head out to see what Pi was doing. He somehow saw that Jin and Kame’s face expressions had change. Maybe it was just my feelings…
Ueda stood up, wanting to get out of there before the trio asked him further. But Jin and Kame had pushed him back.
“…you owe us some explanation Tat-chan…” and Ueda’s face went pale.

Ueda rolled in his blanket. Is this the right thing? He never told anybody about the feelings he had for Ryo since it will be embarrassing and the facts that no Johnny’s can keep their mouth shut.
Flashback
“…what…explanation…?” he asked back. Kame shook his head.
“Duh uh…don’t play that you don’t know…Nishikido made you cried, didn’t he?” He turned away, didn’t want to see the trio’s faces.
“Now Ueda-kun…we need you to tell us the truth so that we can help you get back at him…just don’t be shy…”Pi tried to confront the older one among them. Ueda kept silence for a moment before he told the three men what he feels and the story within.
“…so you had love him since juniors, eh?” Ueda nodded. His tears finally dried.
“…maybe I should just…forget him…get over this feelings…he won’t love me back even if I told him the truth…he’ll mock me instead…
I just fall in love with the wrong person…” he muttered. Kame patted him on the shoulder.
“…like Pi had said earlier…you shouldn’t…it is not a sin to fall in love with Nishikido. Love is blind. Love is simple. You don’t need reasons to fall in love. You just did. You won’t know whether he’ll love you back or not…we don’t know people’s hearts Tat-chan…a heart is unpredictable but it never cheats…maybe he just doesn’t realize it yet…the feelings that he had for you…perhaps he does love you but he doesn’t know how to express it properly…and to mock you is his own way to say ‘I love you’…”Jin and Pi agreed to Kame’s statement.
End of flashback
Ueda sighed. What Kame had mentioned earlier stuck in his head.
“…a heart is unpredictable but it never cheats…” for a while, he thought deeply before making up his mind.
“Maybe Kame is right…he just doesn’t realize it…how would I know his feeling if I don’t confess first…or better…I’ll make him confess…” a smirk grew on his face. He dialed Kame’s phone number.

“Okay…first…we just have to make him realize that Tat-chan is…beautiful?” Jin earned a smack on his head from Ueda. Ueda glared at him.
“What? I was just telling the truth…though your prettiness can’t be compared to Kazu…”another smack landed on his head. That one is from Kame.
“What’s wrong with you girls? I was just telling the~” Jin yelped in pain when double smack hit his head.
“Itai~” Pi laughed heartlessly at Jin’s sufferings.
“Jin…I know you were just telling the truth but sometimes a white lie is necessary…” Pi was smacked on the head too.
“What the hell was that for??!” Kame looked at Ueda and vice versa.
“…for calling us girls and for teaching the Bakanishi to lie…he is mine and mine only…no one can teach him other than me…” Kame exclaimed.
Now who is the seme? Ueda thought.

Ryo opened his mailbox and was terrified with the flooded letters in it. What the fuck? And since when that I’m popular more than Pi? Ryo tried his best to clear the flooded mailbox. With one hand holding his bag and an armful of letters, he fumbled with the bunch of keys to open his apartment’s door. BUKK! He fell on the floor, butt first, with the letters scattered on the floor and the keys barely hit his inner thighs. And not to mention his bag on his head for a few seconds before it hit the marble floor.
He yelped in pain. The obaachan who lived next to him stuck her head out of the door asking whether he was alright. Ryo nodded, still in pain. He quickly picked up his bag and the letters after he opened the door before throwing himself in.

Pi just observed the changes occurred in his best friend in a few days. Ryo was still insulting Ueda and this time, even worst than before. He began to wonder whether their plan A was not working.
Flashback
He smacked Jin’s head. “Don’t you have any other plan other than shoving both of them inside the janitor’s closet? It’s an old trick, Jin…too many couples were ‘born’ in the closet…”Kame glared at Pi.
“…well at least he did generate some idea…” Pi pouted. And where’s Toma when I need him to back me up?
“…wait…I’ve got another idea…” Kame and Pi looked at Jin who smirked.
“What? Any other stupid ideas will be automatically rejected…understood?” Pi said and earned a smack on his shoulder. Jin pouted but just for a while.
“Like what Kazu had said to Tat-chan earlier…Ryo-chan might love Tat-chan but he is just being too ego and stubborn to admit it…so…first we need him to realize…”Kame nodded. Pi furrowed. When did Bakanishi evolved to be non-Bakanishi?
“…so what’s the idea?” Jin nodded.
“…we just have to threat Ryo-chan…in other words, blackmail…”Kame widened his eyes. Pi looked shock but yet interested.
“How?” both of them said in unison. Jin smirked.
“…we send him letters, pretending to be some fan girls who are obsessed with RyoDa, and threats him…we shall send him the pictures, magazines or anything which have drop-dead gorgeous Tat-chan in it…got it?” Kame and Pi looked at each other.
End of flashback
Why do I even agree with them in the first place? Pi sighed. In front of him was the usual view; Ryo mocked Ueda and the latter looked as if he will be crying in any seconds, which he is. A few minutes later, Ueda just walk away, leaving the smirking Ryo. Pi was about to turn away when he saw that the smirk on Ryo’s face faded away. Ryo looked disturbed and kind of anxious feeling plastered on his face. Pi tilted his head.
“Eh?” after a few seconds, he grinned. Pi immediately called Kame.
“Ryo-chaaaaan~!” Ryo closed his ears with both of his hands. Pi slumped down the couch, beside Ryo.
“What do you want Pi? I’m trying to have some sleep here?”
“Aww…Ryo-chan…just answer my questions first then you can have your sleep ne?” Ryo yawned. Thinking that he really needed sleep at the moment, he nodded.
“Yosh! Just answer as honest as you can…” Ryo nodded, sleepily.
“…what makes you mock Ueda-kun everyday?”
“…cause I just feel like it…and the last question is? I’m sleepy so please be fucking considerate Pi-chan…” Pi grinned, looking how sleepy Ryo was with his eyes closed.
“…okay last one is…just answer yes ne…you did it to express your undying love for him right?” Ryo nodded without noticing.
“…yes…now please go…” Pi jumped off the couch and walked out of the room, muttering thank you to his best friend with loud and high-pitched voice.
Ryo was about to drift to the dreamland when he suddenly realized Pi’s last question.
“What the fuck?!” His eyes widened immediately.

Ryo closed the door behind him. His hand was holding a teddy bear wearing some sort of Lolita dress. He sat on the couch with the bear firm in his hand. He caressed the bear’s fury face and stared into the orbs. The bear wore a choker with letters C.Y.O.K.O
“…you look cute…” he read the letters, “…Cyoko…just like him…” he giggled at himself. Later he remembered something. He put the bear carefully on the couch before heading towards his bedroom and come back again bringing another black teddy bear with him.
“…this is your new friend, meet Ichigo…”
And the day ended with Ryo sleeping between two cute teddy bears on his bed. At the other part of Tokyo, Ueda smiled, watching the monitor in front of him; the monitor where Ryo was in it, sleeping with two teddy bears.

The moment he met with Ryo at the rooftop and the man brought Cyoko along, he couldn’t resist smirking in his heart. He knew his plans are going to begin soon.
