Dear Yuletide Writer:
First of all, thank so much for signing up to write any of my fandoms! I am so excited for Yultide. It is one of my favorite things of the year. I have tried to give prompts and information so hopefully there is something below that strikes your interest, but if not go with your muse and have fun.
While I do list for pairings I like for some fandoms, I would be just as happy with gen. My general likes and dislikes are below and I've added some notes to each fandom. I generally prefer things to level out at R rated, but for some of my prompts below, it can go further if you want. Or if you want to set up and fade to black that works for me as well.
Things I like in fic (not necessarily all together): lightness, humor, wistfulness, silliness, things that are reflective, fun, wacky hijinks, and getting into (and out of) trouble. I am a sucker for a happy ending.
Things I do not really like in fic: violence, animal harm, in story character death (things that deal with canon character death is okay), lots of darkness (a little is okay), non-con, and character bashing.
Call the Midwife

Barbara Gilbert
Prompt:
I love this show so much, and I would love anything with these two. For specific prompts: Tom and Barbara's first few months as a married couple, Tom and Barbara dealing with a crisis in poplar, a day out in the country where all sorts of things go wrong and they carry on and have a lovely day anyway, really anything light and fun (though I love how the show mixes light and fun with more serious issues, and that is welcome as well). I also love their interactions with the sisters and other nurses so please include anyone you need to make the story work.
Things I do not really like in fic: violence, animal harm, in story character death (things that deal with canon character death is okay), lots of darkness (a little is okay), non-con, and character bashing.
Additional notes:
I have watched this shows entire run three times and I love it so much. Every time I watch it I spot something new. I loved the original cast and I love how organic each new addition has been. I really like Barbara and I love her relationship as roomies with Nurse Crane, and how Sister Evangelina mentored her and I just really liek the strenght of her realtionshp with Tom. I feel like they did a good job of addressing it the issues with Trixie. Also the scene with the brill cream in the parlor cracks me up.

I am so very very sad this show ended and I miss checking in with the residents of Bluebell, Alabama. I would love some post series finale fic with Zoe and Wade still living in the guest house and Lavon and Lemon married and living in the main house. Especially dealing with raising kids.
Or really anything about any combination of these four. I loved how Zoe and Lemon's relationship developed over the series and I really think they ended in a good place though I'm sure Lemon will never be able to avoid schemes and dragging Zoe into them or vice versa. and Lavon and Zoe - I loved that they just became fast friends!
I also would totally be cool with Lemon/Lavon or Wade/Zoe ship fic with a side of the other two. I loved it when Zoe and Wade were friends with benefits and how they carried that forward into a real relationship.
I also love everyone else in the town - Tom and Wanda and Annabelle and George, etc. Include anyone you need to make the story work.

This show is just so fun and light and wacky and awesome. I have watched a lot of it twice, including the last season. I was very happy with how it all ended. Now I just want more!

I love this show and how these girls are just so awesome and empowered and kick butt and are there for eachother. It's a strong and imperfect friendship.
I would love wacky hijinks friendship fic - going on some crazy Jane assignment where they have to go undercover for a story and it gets completely out of hand and control. I love how they bail eachother out and just show up.
Include anyone you need to make it work. I am all about the canon ships so any supporting characters are welcome.
Additional notes:
I loved the actress who plays Jane in Faking It, so when I saw she got a new show I was really excited because it did not disappoint. It was funny and charming and the characters just worked for me. Each of the leading ladies has their own strenghts and weakness and the show highlights both sides - the good, the bad, and the ugly. I really like the background they have bulit for Sutton and how each of the girls comes from different experiences.

Love love love this show so much. I love the three travelers and their support team.
I would love a story about a trip. Any point in history. I love that the boys need Lucy to keep em straight in time and when she isn't there they (mostly) get into trouble. I would love a story with her saving them. I also love the insights Rufus has into history and missions and the different perspective he provides. This show really values all of their skills and I love how they play off eachother.
Include any characters you need to make the story work.
I would enjoy gen or ship fic. I genererally ship Lucy and Wyatt and Rufus and Jiya but I could also totally see Lucy/Rufus (though not cheating on Jiya please) or Lucy/Rufus/Wyatt.

When this show was canceled I was completely disappointed because I really just loved it so much so I was so thrilled when it got renewed. I really just enjoy a good historical time travel show and this is that. I would prefer a fic that is set in a different time, but if you have the best idea for a story set back on earth then please write that. I am not the hugest fan of the rittenhouse mythology but it goes hand and hand with the show.
On a character note, the way Jiya stood up to Rittenshouse was just fantastic. She is smart and funny and strong and just a great addition to the show. She works hard to keep the travelers safe and they know she has their back.
I am not a big fan of Garcia or Lucy/Garcia, so please avoid if you can.
