a prayer
This is the prayer I composed to St. Francis, who holds vigil over Dorpy's grave.
Saint Francis, please watch over all the critters of our neighborhood. Cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, foxes, skunks, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, turtles, frogs, and all the pretty birds. May they be embraced by your love and protected by your grace.
