( HI, random person whose lawn she's on. She'll lift up her arm that was, until this point, flopped over her eyes, and gives a half-hearted wave. )

I'm fine! Just... tired. ( And she props herself up on her elbows-- ) I've just been sprawled out on your lawn, haven't I? I'm sorry.

Me? Oh, no. ( She grins, albeit tiredly. ) I'm just super!

( Pulling herself into a sitting position-- ) This place is just bigger than I expected, you know? Go out for a run, wind up napping on random lawns.

Loops? Really? This place really is a nightmare. ( Muttering: ) And that'd explain why that run ended up being longer than it ever should've been.

( Yay! She'll take that hand and the help. ) Nina? I'm Arizona, and extremely new. Phew! Thanks. ( And dusting herself off. )

I heard that it's weird-- all of us arriving at once, I mean? ( And now she's limbering up her arms, because stretching is awesome ) I'm not all that sure what to make of that. Everything about this place is surreal, you know?

( She laughs a little. ) I thought I was hallucinating! Actually I'm... kind of still hoping I might be.

Oh! Yay. ( Bouncing on her feet. ) It's a special skill! And sometimes considered a curse, actually, if you're one of my coworkers. Being chipper and cheery is a lot more fun than being kind of down and depressed, though.

( And probably a coping mechanism, but oh well. )

Right! I better go get some coffee and work on that then, huh?

( She beams! Although it is tempered just a bit by "used to work." ) I'm a doctor. A surgeon, actually. Lots of doctors are very serious, edgy people. Dark pasts, painful secrets, emotional trauma, that kind of thing. I'm kind of like the odd one out, and I am very okay with that.

How about you, Nina? What'd you do before you got here?

Mmhmm. Pediatrics, more than anything else, but it's a field that crosses over with a lot of other areas.
( and she bobs her head. ) Couldn't agree more. Hooray for minimal psychological scarring.

( Eyebrow quirking, just a little, but she doesn't comment on that evasion. ) Sure! That'd be great, thank you. I don't think I could handle accidentally wandering into another loop because I'm too tired to think straight.
