My Dwindling Summer
I have no idea what I'm going to write about, but I figured I'd try something since it's been awhile. I think we finally decided where to go before school starts (besides Swainsboro, which doesn't count as a vacation). My grandparents that live in Columbus are looking to buy a place in the mountains around Highlands, so we're going to go up there with them because they want Daddy to help them look at real-estate and prices and other such things that he deals with everyday.
Hayley and I went to see Spiderman yesterday. It was good, but to me it seemed really long (not in a bad way) even though it was only just over 2 hours. The one thing I feel compelled to remark about is that Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane Watson) did not realize who Tobey Maguire (Peter Parker) was after her moment of enlightenment at the end of the first movie. The only feasible explanation that I can come up with is that instance which we all thought meant she knew Peter's true identity was in fact just a yawn. That accounts for the odd look on Mary Jane's face and the hand that went to her mouth in what was obviously not understanding.
I went to tennis camp again this week with all the same little Country Day kids. The best thing was undoubtedly the cool college pros, all of whom were guys (Thomas, Joe, Mark, Steve, and Javier). On the third day when nobody close to my age showed up I got to hit with Thomas and Mark (two of the undeniably awesome college pros), which was quite a lot of fun.
It's lightning outside so I think I'll go ahead and post this in case something tragic were to occur. Love to all, ME.
