Yesterday afternoon I had a parent teacher conference with Booger's teacher. He is doing well, he knows his colors, shapes, can count to 10 (actually he can count farther but that's all that's required of him at this point.) He can identify 23 capital letters and 22 lower case letters. He can almost write his name by himself. He needs work on his address and phone number, he needs to cut paper more often. He has trouble staying quiet during quiet time aka nap time. He has some gross motor problems. He can run and gallop but can't skip. It took me forever to learn to skip. All in all she says he is doing well and is happy with him as a student.
He loves being read to, He's gotten 7 new books in recent weeks. The scholastic book order came in. he got 4 books there and then this week they're having their book fair. He got 3 books there. We also donated one to his classroom.
I am fostering puppies only two though. They are doing well. They're eating well but still having accidents in the house. They are doing well being kenneled at night. I expect the accidents because they're only about 7 weeks old. They like to go outside, and can go up and down the back steps. I'm happy about them. I'm having trouble getting one to eat. He eats twice a day, the humane society would like them to eat 3 times a day. But he's drinking plenty and pooping okay. He has energy and is active during the day.
Hubby is working on leave paperwork. I expect him to be home around the 20th of November and stay until the 8th of December. That's almost 3 weeks.
I'm down, and frustrated but I'm doing better than I was the other day.
