(no subject)
After signing out yesterday, I got another page done on that chapter for the novel, so now I'm two pages up on where I'd lost the flow. Pretty happy about this. Still having to work in spurts, but at least it's something other than poetry, so I'm getting my focus back.
Merlin went to bed easily again, and woke up both easily and in a good mood. He said good morning, helped with getting him dressed (as opposed to fighting it, and stripping when you turn your back on him) and even helped me with my shoes when getting ready for outside. When I told him what a good job he did and what a big boy he was getting to be, you could actually see his eyes get that excited sparkle... the sort that anime overdoes to make it funny. lol
The kitties that I'm kitten sitting for my brother and his family while they're getting their cabinets and plumbing fixed are starting to get along with Mr No. This is good. I've actually somehow got both the kittens drinking out of a bowl now, when before one of them was so picky that she would only drink out of a faucet. I honestly have no clue how I managed this, I guess she likes the stainless steel water bowl...
Don't remember much from my dreams tonight, just extremely vague impressions of where I'd been. I suppose I didn't have much form cohesion within my dream, one of those where the main theme seems to be rest, relax, enjoy where you are. I know where I was, but if anything else happened other than "warm and misty" I don't know. Huh... *tilts head*
Woke up to birds singing outside my room, which went nicely with the music I have set for my alarm.
ok, end morning ramble/story upday. I think I'll have a little coffee and do a spot of tidying up. Blasted dust. I'll open up windows this afternoon when it's warmish if I can keep Merlin from noticing they're open and pushing out the screens. And I want a better vacuum, and one of thosedust filters till I can get the dust knocked down to "reasonable" again. Aggravating... If I had one again it would be nice to be able to use it when it seems bad... like when I'm dusting to help minimize the re-settling bit... then put it back away for a while.
