Here's what I've changed...I'm not sure if it's effective yet, but I'm going to keep going. I feel better since I've started changing.
1. No snack cakes. I love Swiss Rolls, Nutty Bars, and other things like that, but I've cut them out completely and replaced them with apples and some dipping sauce (my favorite being caramel with peanuts). Or yogurt. Or 100-calorie packs of something.
2. I only drink coffee in the morning (one cup unless I go out to eat breakfast like I did this morning) and water/tea/Crystal Light with lunch and supper. I've almost cut tea out completely...and I'm a girl from the south where sweet iced tea is the drink of choice! No sodas though. Bad.
3. I only eat Lean Cuisine/something of that nature when it comes to TV dinners.
4. I'm a lot more cautious about how much I eat, especially when it comes to my raspberry cookies. I eat one most of the time, but sometimes I'll splurge and have two. I'm really leery about fast food too. I don't snack as much as I used to, either. Okay, that was 3 changes in one list item. Whatever XD
5. Green tea is becoming one of my favorite drinks. I love the Lipton citrus kind, and I'm trying raspberry acai later.
There you have it. :) I'm quite proud of myself for sticking with it for...a week.
