I feel the sense of radiant happiness that comes from having resigned my job and being in France with miss nanji (whose loveliness makes up for the evil and insanity of French keyboards) the rest of this week.
I found my way here fine having succesfully survived both planes and buses (having been pleasantly surprised by the smoothness of my French and the plesantness of bus drivers) and now I plan to wear skimpy outfits, laze on the beach by day and night and do as little as possible for the rest of the time.
And upon my return to England no more shall I toil among the tubes and buses and pointless papers- the joy of this compensates for the sorry state of my bank balance.
